Welcome to the foothills of the Appalachians
We offer a unique Farm-Stay in a 1800′s log cabin that was relocated to our 200 acre farm and reassembled by the talents of local Mennonites. When you stay in the cabin, you will feel as though you have stepped back in time.
We offer the privacy of a self-contained log cabin set back in it’s own “Holler”. The cabin includes two bedrooms upstairs, which sleeps six, and a full bathroom downstairs. A complete kitchen and living room are also located downstairs. There is a porch on the back to quietly watch the deer and turkey, who visit frequently, and a porch on the front of the cabin with relaxing swings and rockers.
You are welcome to help out in feedings, egg collecting, blackberry picking, or any of our farm chores, or not!
The farm is a retreat from city life.
Enjoy our trails for hiking or horseback riding. Walk along the creek to our seasonal waterfall and visit our farm animals. Hold and socialize our baby chicks and lambs, pet our sheep, miniature horses, chickens, ducks, cats, and dogs. Or just sit on the porch and bird watch, listen to the lambs bleating and the hens clucking and read a book.
Please feel free to “visit” our working outhouse, located next to the barn.
